Biography

Biography

Juliet is a Certified Movement Analyst (CMA, Laban), and specialises in movement and embodied practices for Actors, Dancers and Movement Directors. Professional Acting and Movement Directing work include BBC's 'Doctor Who', Young Vic Theatre, Half Moon Theatre (resident and touring), Wall to Wall TV productions. She also teaches Laban at The Drama Studio London and the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and was Laban tutor for 10 years at E15 Acting School.

Research interests

Movement and embodied practices for Actors, Dancers and Movement Directors including Laban, Bartenieff, Animal Transformation, Michael Chekhov Technique as well as movement analysis through observation and embodiment, Movement Notation and Somatics. Current research interests are movement as a spiritual practice, sacred geometry, Choreutics and Eukinetics and their impact on the actors' sense of self and in transformation.

Teaching

Pathway Leader in Movement Direction and Choreography on GSA's MA Creative Practices and Direction course as well as Movement tutor on BA and MA Acting and Dance programmes.
