Continuing professional development (CPD)
Our continuing professional development (CPD) courses and modules are developed in partnership with health and social care providers to ensure that they offer an up-to-date, relevant and evidence-based approach, and remain responsive to the changing health and social care needs of our society.
Our modules, courses and study days
Our School has a rich community of leading healthcare researchers and the courses on offer, and our curriculum content is grounded in relevant theoretical models, reviews of recent professional literature and existing best practices.
Service users have been involved in the development of module content and course design, reflecting the importance we place on the service user perspective. Many of our modules have an inter-professional focus, putting the patient experience and journey at the heart of our teaching and learning.
Based on the evidence available, the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Panel judged that the University of Surrey delivers consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students. It is of the highest quality found in the UK.
