Maintaining your mentor status
You are required to update your mentor status annually, either 'face to face' in person or online via the online mentor updates. Please note if you choose the online update option you must attend a 'face to face' update the following year. The learning lead in your organisation will maintain a database of live mentors who have updated.
This useful booklet will allow you to collate evidence of your mentorship activities and statutory requirements (i.e. mentoring two students in a three year period).
A Triennial Review must be undertaken every three years although many organisations choose to undertake it on an annual basis as part of the appraisal process. Specific documentation must be completed for the review.
