I am passionate about shaping a workplace where every individual thrives.

It was while studying at the University of Surrey that I realised I could connect my love of nature to my fascination with people, opening up a range of career opportunities where I have been able to put my learning to good use and make positive change for people and planet.

The advice I always give is to figure out what’s most important to you, and let that guide your career. I knew I wanted to help others and make the world a better place, so I went to study Psychology.

One of the highlights was learning from professors who are at the forefront of Psychology research; they were true experts in their fields and provided fantastic learning opportunities.

I was never just a passive receiver of knowledge at Surrey – I always felt like an active learner collaborating with my lecturers on this journey to become a psychologist.

One of my best memories was working on my dissertation, where I explored healthcare habit formation using virtual reality technology. The support from my supervisor and the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge research project was invaluable

I currently work for a medical NGO called Doctors Without Borders. I enjoy the relevancy of my work, bringing medical services to people who are at their most vulnerable and who do not have access to reliable healthcare.

I had the privilege of learning from inspiring mentors and collaborating with brilliant colleagues who enriched my research experience. Moreover, I made lifelong friendships that I will always cherish.

I loved my time at the University of Surrey. The placement year was a game-changer, giving me hands-on experience and a head start post graduation. I made some life long friends and would recommend the University to everyone
