After you apply

What happens once you apply for an undergraduate course at the University of Surrey, and when you can expect a decision from us.

Once you’ve submitted your application through UCAS, they'll pass your details on to us and we'll send you an email confirming that we've got your application. We’ll also let you know how to log in to Surrey Self-Service.

Track your application

Surrey Self-Service lets you track your University of Surrey application. We'll use Surrey Self-Service to let you know if you need to send us any further information, or if you’re invited to one of our applicant days.

You can also track your application through UCAS Track. We recommend you use Surrey Self-Service for the most comprehensive and up-to-date information from us.

Auditions and interviews

For some courses you might be invited to an audition or interview as part of the application process. If this happens, we’ll let you know through Surrey Self-Service.

When will I get a decision?

We receive more applications than we have places, so unfortunately we can't offer a place to everyone. We give equal consideration to everyone who applies through UCAS each year.

We normally make our decisions by the end of March, though the final UCAS deadline for universities to make their decisions is in early May.

Friday 29 January is our application deadline for all courses that start in 2021, except for veterinary medicine and science which had a deadline of 15 October.

If we make you an offer, you’ll be notified through Surrey Self-Service and UCAS Track.
