After you apply
What happens once you apply for an undergraduate course at the University of Surrey, and when you can expect a decision from us.
Once you’ve submitted your application through UCAS, they'll pass your details on to us and we'll send you an email confirming that we've got your application. We’ll also let you know how to log in to Surrey Self-Service.
Track your application
Surrey Self-Service lets you track your University of Surrey application. We'll use Surrey Self-Service to let you know if you need to send us any further information, or if you’re invited to one of our applicant days.
Auditions and interviews
For some courses you might be invited to an audition or interview as part of the application process. If this happens, we’ll let you know through Surrey Self-Service.
When will I get a decision?
We receive more applications than we have places, so unfortunately we can't offer a place to everyone. We give equal consideration to everyone who applies through UCAS by 15 January each year.
We normally make our decisions by the end of March, though the final UCAS deadline for universities to make their decisions is in early May.
If you apply after 15 January, the UCAS deadline for university decisions is in mid-July.
