A1 (basic user) Beginners
A2 (basic user) Pre-Intermediate (equivalent to GCSE level)
B1 (independent user) Intermediate (equivalent to AS-level)
B2 (independent user) Upper-Intermediate (equivalent to A-level)
B2 (independent user) Advanced (post A-level)
