
Dr Vlatka Skokic
About
Biography
Vlatka gained her Masters in Economics at the Faculty of Economics, Croatia. She completed her Doctorate at Strathclyde University (Glasgow) in July 2010. Her dissertation focuses on entrepreneurship within transition economies. In July 2009, Vlatka was awarded the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) award for the PhD research student of the year.
Prior joining the Surrey Business School, she spent five years as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Economics, Croatia. She has also taught on a number of courses at Strathclyde University.
