Our masters course has been running for over 50 years making it one of the longest-established courses in the world, and our undergraduate course was set up in 2000 helping some of our graduates go onto clinical engineering positions in the NHS to, design consultancies, medicine, prosthesis manufacturers, car manufacturers as safety specialists, and others.

Funding information:

Tuition fee covered at the UK home rate, plus UKRI standard stipend (£17,668 for 2023-24), and consumable and training support for the research.

Development of next-generation microfluidic technology device for detection of circulating cancer cells

Funding information:

UKRI standard stipend (£16,062 for 2022-23) UK fees.

Smart flooring solutions for fall protection

Funding information:

The studentship will cover University fees and a stipend (£15,400) for 3.5 years in addition to £1,000 per annum to be spent on research and training for the student.
