Business
The Department of Management Education offers a range of services internally and externally, from staff development programmes to consultancy and formal qualifications. While our work is predominantly within the business school context, we also engage in cross-disciplinary projects such as programme and curriculum design, blended learning approaches and coaching for educators at any level.
Consultancy
We provide consultancy on strategic and operational matters in management education including innovative curriculum design, teaching practice and leadership.
Bespoke CPD programmes
We provide bespoke Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes for management educators and practitioners to further develop pedagogical knowledge and skills or to support transition into learning and development roles.
Programmes for management educators
CPD programmes for management educators are aimed predominantly at providers who operate in higher or further management education. Programmes can focus on various topics including programme development, performance measurement, leadership and innovation, assessment and feedback.
Programmes for practitioners in learning and development
We also offer bespoke CPD programmes to train practitioners who want to transition into learning and development roles either in their own organisation or externally. Practitioners will learn a range of pedagogical tools and develop pedagogical skills to train others.
Partnerships
Our Global Partnership Network (GPN) is about developing and co-creating competence in management education across the globe and making a difference in how we will be managed and led in the future.
We are interested in collaborating closely with like-minded people and organisations. If you feel you would like to be involved as an academic or industry partner, please get in touch. There is no joining fee or membership.
