The Role of Employer Brand in Retaining Staff in the Irish Hotel Sector - an Intergenerational StudyThe retention of staff for the hotel sector in Ireland is an area of significant concern. This task is further complicated by adaption to the needs of the various generations currently in the workplace - especially Generation Y cohort members. This research sets out to analyse the reputation of the Irish Hotel Industry as an employer, evaluating its employer brand and develops a conceptual framework which examines the employer brand contributors, under the influence of generational factors, to analyse employees intention to leave or stay with an organisation, and the overall retention in the Irish hotel industry.
