Centre for Management Education
Our mission is to be the leading centre for the enquiry into the theory and practice of management education. Our Centre for Management Education (CME) aims to improve and enhance teaching excellence in management through industry-informed curriculum design, new teaching practices, staff development and pedagogic research and events.
About us
The world of work is changing rapidly. What was important today, is irrelevant tomorrow. The one solution is no more. Instead, business managers and leaders are faced with managing a string of complex situations. Management education is at the heart of this paradigm shift, dedicated to developing managers and leaders ready to pursue a career in an unknown future with unknown problems.
Our aim is to respond to those developments and to function as a platform for academics, directors of learning and teaching, scholars, practitioners, policy makers and pracademics in management education to shape curriculum, teaching practice, assessment and feedback approaches and research.
We offer a range of services inside and outside Surrey, from staff development programmes, consultancy, collaborative research projects and events to enable growth within the management education community.
